Local Models Needed for Televised Raleigh Fashion Show

Auditions will be held March 4th, 7 p.m. at the The Mint

Raleigh, N.C. (February 26 2008) – Brian Williams Television is searching for local models for STRUT '08, a televised runway fashion show featuring the lines of nationally acclaimed designers and the latest styles from popular Triangle clothiers and boutiques.

Open auditions for both male and female models will be held at The Mint restaurant and bar, located at 219 Fayetteville Street in downtown Raleigh, on Tuesday, March 4th. Registration will begin at 7 p.m. and auditions will commence at 8 p.m. Male models sizes 29 to 34 and female models sizes 2 to 8 are needed for the May 3rd fashion show that will be held at North Hills.

Interested individuals should bring headshots and a resume and should dress to impress with appropriate footwear -- dress shoes for men; heels for women. Up to 35 models may be selected and must be available the afternoon and evening of May 2 for rehearsal and all day and evening of May 3 for hair, make-up, the fashion show and after party.

STRUT '08 will feature nationally known fashion designers who have ties to the Triangle, including: Amy Stephenson, The Stephenson Denim Finery; Miranda Laughlin, Bleighm; Guy Marshall, Hawk Blade Studios; Elizabeth Yarborough, Yarborough Jewelry; and Holly Aiken, Holly Aiken Bags/Stitch. The designers have been invited to attend the March 4th modeling auditions.
